Whether pickup is free depends on what the item can resell or scrap for, its condition, how far the drive is, and how much labor and disposal the rest of the load takes. Sometimes the math works and you pay nothing. Sometimes it half works and you pay a discounted rate. Sometimes it doesn't, and you get a fair quote. The photos tell me which one — that's why I ask for them first.
